Spanish telescope delves further into universe than ever before
A Spanish telescope has captured the deepest image of the Galaxy on record.
The Canaries Astrophysics Institute has managed to capture the image of a billion stars forming from over 500 million light years away, ten times further than any other earth based telescope.
The images boost current thoughts on how galaxies are formed, and on the early stages of creations of stars.
