Authorities remind people to keep away from Teide, after man breaks leg in fall
Authorities have warned those hoping to climbe Teide in the snow not to, after a climber suffered a serious fracture to his leg on Tuesday.
The 25-year-old man had to be airlifted to safety after falling around a rocky area in the caldera. He was then taken to Candelaria hospital, where he is said to be in a stable condition.
Authorities are reminding people that road closures are still in place after some of the worst snow fall in over 15 years.
