Costa Blanca property sales on the rise

Property sales in the Costa Blanca have shown a promising start to 2016, with a 15% increase in sales compared to 2015.

The market has shown a steady increase in the number of purchases, with over half of all sales coming from overseas. British buyers lead the overseas investment market, with over 1000 properties bought in the first quarter of the year.

However estate agents are warning that this quarter may show a slight slowdown, as political uncertainty in Spain has affected the local markets, and Brexit concerns could be cause for a drop in sales.
