Man dies on stag do after hotel window fall

A 35-year-old man from Madrid died on Sunday morning after falling out of a hotel window in the northern city of Gijón whilst on his stag do.

The man, who was with his friends, is understood to have fallen from a fifth floor window. Emergency services were called to the scene but it is understood the man died instantly from his injuries.

An investigation has been launched into the cause of the fall, although it is understood to be an accident.
