Podemos forms alliance before General Election

Anti-austerity party Podemos has said that it has struck a deal with the United Left party for the upcoming Spanish Elections.

Podemos and the leftist federation United Left (IU), which includes the Spanish Communist Party, republicans, greens and feminists, will run together in the general election of June 26.

However the joint document avoids issues that the various groups disagree on, like NATO membership or changing the monarchy for a republic.
