British tourist arrested for killing friend on holiday in Javea

A British tourist has been arrested on suspicion of pushing a friend to his death during a drunken row in Javea.

The victim, understood to be between 40 to 50 years old, was found dead on Sunday night, after breaking his neck in the fall on the Arenal promenade.

Guardia Civil have launched an investigation into the death, after reports that the 2 men had been socializing together throughout the day and started arguing after consumption of alcohol.
