Spanish ‘state of alarm’ to last another month

The state of alarm declared in Spain on the 3rd of December 2010 when the AENA air traffic controllers staged a walk out has been extended for another month and is set to finish on the 15th January 2011. This news has been well received in the Canary Islands in order to guarantee no further disruptions to air traffic over the upcoming Christmas holidays.
