Property sales reach historic low

The sale of properties in Spain between July and September 2010 dropped by 26.3% totalling 79.233 operations which is the lowest figure since figures began in 2004. Of the 79.233 properties sold, 24.267 were new properties and 54.966 were used properties. Between January and September 2010, 205.015 new properties were sold which represents a drop of 19.1% while the sale of second hand properties rose by 30.4% (266.005 properties).
