Air traffic controllers face jail term

The AENA air traffic controllers that staged a walk out last Friday (3/12/2010) over changes to their terms and conditions and the possible privitasation, caused chaos in Spain (and other countries) when all flights were grounded and cancelled until further notice. As a state of alarm was declared in Spain, the controllers are deemed to have broken the law and jail terms of three to eight years are being considered, meanwhile, 12 air traffic controllers are refusing to give evidence in court.
