122 million euro tourism investment

A meeting took place in Madrid yesterday between the president of the Canarian government, Paulino Rivero and the minister for Industry, Tourism and commerce, Miguel Sebastian, to discuss an investment of €122.000.000 over three years (2010 – 2012) to improve tourism in the Canary Islands. the investment is broken down as 30 million euros in 2010, 42 million in 2011 and the final 50 million in 2012 and is to be spent improving areas of interest for tourists.
