Canaries public debt reaches €38.000 per employed person

The public debt of the Canary Islands has reached €38.000 per employed person in the islands. If you were to go further and add  the debt of households and non-financial businesses, the figure reaches nearly €90.000 per person. In the Canaries, at 1st Jan 2010, there were 2.118.519 people on the census, 690.071 of those were enrolled on the social security census as working.
