Experts brought in to tackle tiger mosquitoe outbreak

Experts from Huelva have been drafted in to help deal with the rise in the number of tiger mosquitoes found in the region.

Populations of the pest have increased dramatically over the last few weeks, now local authorities have asked for experts from Huelva to assist in trying to eradicate the pest, as well as provide treatment for those bitten by the insects.

People are reminded that tiger mosquitos do not require much water to breed in, and are being asked to not leave water around to stagnate, and if possible to drain to treat ponds or possible breeding grounds.
