easyJet flight diverted after onboard disruption

An easyJet flight heading to Majorca was diverted to Toulouse on Saturday after disruptive behaviour from some passengers on board.

It’s understood the passengers had consumed excess alcohol, and their behaviour was putting the aircraft and passengers at risk.

The disruptive passengers were met by police when the aircraft landed in France. It then continued to the Balearics. However due to the diversion the aircraft could not operate the return trip, meaning passengers had to stay for another night on the island.
