Man faces fine for lying to emergency services

A Spanish man is facing a fine of up to €600,000 after calling police to let his pet cats out of his home.

It’s understood the man lied during an emergency call, when he asked for emergency services to rescue what he said was his children who were locked in a car parked at his house.

However when help arrived, they only found two cats inside the property, with the children no-where to be seen.

Now the man could face a steep fine for wasting rescue services time.
