Petrol price reaches €1 in the Canaries

For the first time ever, petrol prices have reached the €1 mark in the Canary Islands. High 98 octane petrol at Cepsa and Disa petrol stations has reaches €1.03 in some parts of Gran Canaria. When compared to prices from 2002, fuel in the Canaries has risen 120%, when compared to increases in wages, this represents only a 17%.
