Spain prepares for cold weather
Thirty-five Spanish provinces have been put on alert for freezing weather, with snowfall expected across most of the north of Spain, and reports there could be some in the Canaries!
Castilla y León has been warned to expect low temperatures of -10oC, Asturias up to 15 cm of snow and Galicia to expect extremely high waves of up to 5 metres in height.
Madrid, Navarre, Basque Country, Catalonia, Murcia and parts of Andalucia all have varying levels of warnings in place.
Weather bodies in the Canaries have warned to expect rain, high seas and colder temperatures, especially in the North of Tenerife and Gran Canaria.
