Weather warnings in place for Canaries
Weather warnings have been put in place across the Canaries, Aemet announced this morning.
Strong winds are being reported across the archipelago, with snow being observed in La Palma, Tenerife and parts of Lanzarote.
Risk of high waves
High winds, waves and even snow have been forecast, with already dumps of snow falling in La Palma.
Warnings of rough seas across the islands, high winds and significant rainfall are also in place.
The weather warning is expected to be in force for another 2 days.

Risk of snow
Authorities say not to bathe in the sea, and to avoid coastal areas due to the risk of sudden winds. Spain has been enduring a week of bad weather, and now the Canaries seem to have been added to the list of weather warnings.
