Polls suggest no ground made by Spanish parties in run up to election

With a little over a week to go until Spain returns to the voting booth, opinion polls suggest that another period of wrangling may be in store, as no party currently is forecast to win an outright majority.

Approval ratings for 3 of the 4 main party leaders have shown signs that the public is unimpressed with the failure of the main parties to put aside their differences to form a government after the election in December.

Spain returns to the polls next Sunday.
