Motorcyclist dies in TF-1 smash

An investigation has been launched in Tenerife after a 60-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a traffic accident on the TF-1 motorway at Guaza.

Emergency services were called just after 5.30 in the morning after reports that a motorbike and a car were in a collision.

Despite the actions of the emergency services, the motorcyclist was declared dead at the scene. Another 2 people, understood to be the inhabitants of the car, were injured in the smash.
