Killing of bulls banned in Castilla y León

Authorities in Castilla y León have banned the killing of bulls during traditional festivals, in what is being called a victory for animal rights.

The regional government voted in a decree outlawing the killing of bulls in public saying that public opinion was changing and society was turning their backs on traditional bull fights.
