Nine arrested for olive oil fakery

Nine people have been arrested in connection with a fake olive oil distribution network.

Over 120 tonnes of the product, which was determined to be palm and sunflower oil, mixed with food colouring and other chemicals to make it taste like olive oil.

The operation took place in Jaen, Granada and Cordoba. Nine were arrested, and 2 more people are under investigation.
