Lanzarote emergency services undergo live training

Emergency services in Lanzarote were brought into action on Wednesday for a training exercise at Arrecife airport.

The drill included emergency services, search and rescue and the cabildo in an unannounced simulation of an aviation related accident.

Volunteers acted as victims of the accident, and the whole training exercise was passed without any interference to the operation of the airport.
