Exams recalled after spelling and grammar blunders

Education chiefs were left red-faced, after a reading and writing test for children under five years of age had to be withdrawn due to bad grammar.

The Ministry of Education ordered that the test be withdrawn, after inconsistencies with questions, and a test story that some called sexist.

The 200 word long text was sent back to be re-written, and will come under the scrutiny of education chiefs before being released to schools nationwide.
