Dinner… fit for a King!

Diners at a 24-hour roadside cafe had a shock this week, after a special guest popped in for a bite to eat!

King Felipe VI stopped at Puerta de Extremadura, a 24-hour eatery located within the city limits of La Calzada de Oropesa in Toledo.

The King was joined by acting Education Minister Iñigo Méndez de Vigo after they both hosted an awards ceremony in Cáceres province.

After dining on the €11 menu del dia, consisting of Rabbit, salad and a sponge cake, the King stopped for a chat with the owners, as well as photos with customers and staff.
