Elderly man dies in house fire in Valencia region

A 72-year-old man has died after a fire in his house in Llíria (Valencia province) caused the roof to collapse.

The blaze on Saturday is believed to have been caused by a faulty gas fire. Investigations have begun to determine the cause of the mans death.

It’s understood that he was the only casualty in the fire.
