Eight arrested on drugs charges in Murcia

Guardia Civil have arrested eight people, including a 22-year-old British woman on suspicion of drug offences after a large drug operation was discovered.

The woman is accused of growing and selling marijuana to residents in the Vega Baja area, as part of a large drug running ring in the area.

Searches were carried out in numerous properties in Murcia and La Matanza whilst the investigation was underway.

The eight have been remanded in custody, whilst awaiting trial in Murcia.
