Young footballer dies in road accident
Players and fans of local football team CD San Lorenzo-constancia, have paid their respects after Jairo MartÃn, a 21-year-old footballer with the team died in a traffic accident in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the accident at the Guargacho junction of the Las Chafiras-Las Galletas TF652. It’s understood the car he was a passenger in collided with a Guardia Civil car.
The driver was also injured, and was taken to Hospiten Sur with non-life-threatening injuries.
