Lost hiker rescued in Serra de Crevillent

Guardia Civil were called to rescue a hiker at the weekend, after a man was found disoriented whilst walking in the Serra de Crevillent.

Emergency services were called when the walker failed to return home. It’s understood he had got himself lost whilst on a solo hike, and his mobile phone battery had run out of power.

He was found in the early hours of Sunday morning by mountain rescue.
