3000 tourism jobs created this year

Nearly 3000 tourism related jobs are to be created this year, according to the Minister of Economic Development, Tourism and Employment Development.

The news comes after tourism figures showed just over 65,000 visitors came to the region in the first quarter of the year, with the majority being domestic holiday makers.
