Council asked to act on illegal campers

The council in Torrevieja is being asked to take further action against illegal camping after the Spanish Government raised their concerns.

The department for coastal regions has said that enforcement on laws prohibiting illegal camping along the stretch of coastline at La Mata need to be enforced.

Now they are asking the council to place signs up asking campers to leave, as well as issuing fines for repeat offenders.
