Spain goes green for St Patricks Day

Locations across Spain turned green last night in honour of St Patricks Day.

From prominent buildings and landmarks going green, to town squares being adorned with shamrocks, Spain joined in the celebrations of all things Irish.

Madrid’s Puerta del Alcala was lit up green to celebrate, and Irish themed events are taking place throughout the weekend across the country.
