Five Canarian hotels in Spains Top 25 on Trip Advisor awards

According to Trip Advisors yearly ‘Travellers Choice’ awards, there are five Canarian hotels in the Top 25 hotels in Spain. The ‘Best Hotel in Spain’ award went to Vincci Selección Aleysa in Benalmádena (Málaga). The first hotel from the Canary Islands to make the list is the Hotel Botanico in Puerto de La Cruz (Tenerife), which ranked sixth in the Top 25 in Spain.

The next hotel from the Canary Islands is the Marina Suites in Puerto Rico (Gran Canaria) which came in at 14th place, the Gran Hotel Atlantis Bahia Real in Corralejo (Fuerteventura) in 15th place, the Cordial Mogan Playa in Mogan (Gran Canaria), which was in 18th place and the Princesa Yaiza in Playa Blanca (Lanzarote), which just made the end of the list in 25th place.

In total, eleven hotels in the Canary Islands have been recognised in this edition of the Trip Advisor awards in various categories, one of which, with a major European award. This is the Hotel Anaterve in Vallehermoso (La Gomera) which was voted best hotel in Spain and 17th in Europe for the ‘Best Price – Quality’ award.

Three hotels in the Canaries chosen from the ‘best in Spain’ are also on the list of ‘best luxury’, the Atlantis Bahia Real in Corralejo (6th place), the Botanico in Puerto de la Cruz (10th) and the Princesa Yaiza in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote (14th place).
