Rise in real estate transactions
There has been a slight rise in the real estate transactions in the Canary Islands. The amount of properties bought and sold saw a rise of 0.6% during November 2010 reaching a total of 1.600 transactions. 820 of these properties were new builds. The National statistic for the same period saw a drop of 6.2% across Spain totalling 32.746 transactions. Other property transactions above the 1.600 quoted were 335 exchanged as inheritance, 141 as donations and 539 ‘other’ transactions.
