At least 9 illegal immigrants arrive on Lanzarote

At least 9 illegal immigrants, although the figure could be higher and include minors, arrived on the coast of Famara, Teguise, on Lanzarote in the early hours of Wednesday 20th October 2010, after a resident called the police after spotting what turned out to be two of the illegal immigrants that had arrived via a ‘patera’ earlier that morning. The 9 arrested people all appear to be in good health.
