Fish cages and tourism are not compatible

This is what the president of Ashotel, Jose Fernando Cabrera, said about the proposed expansion to the fish cages in Los Gigantes, Tenerife. He added that Tenerife has 342km. of coasts and that there is room for everyone. The beaches are not the best place to locate fish cages. He also said that where there are cages there will be contamination and this will cause problems with the beache users.
