Tenerife North, Tenerife South and La Palma airports closed

The Icelandic volcano ash has forced AENA to shut down the two airports in Tenerife (Los Rodeos – Tenerife North and Reina Sofia – Tenerife South) and the airport in La Palma and La Gomera from today, Tuesday 11/05/2010 at 05:00 until further notice.

AENA recommends travellers to call their helpline on (+34) 902 404 704 or (+34) 91 321 10 00, failing that contact your airline company.
