Canaries ‘too expensive’ for golf tourists

According to Istac, 83.033 out of the 154.533 tourists that visited the islands to play golf during the first quarter of 2010, said that practising the sport on the islands is ‘expensive’ or ‘too expensive’. A further 60.928 said that they considered the price to be ‘normal’, while 7.200 went on to say that it was ‘cheap’ or ‘very cheap’. On their level of satisfaction, the islands scored a 7.99 (out of 10). The highest scoring aspect was the reservations system (8.26 out of 10). A total of 126.370 would recommend the Canary Islands as a place to play golf, while 3.475 would not recommend the islands.
