Weather warning

A weather warning has been released for the Canary Islands this week. The alert is ‘yellow’ for most of the week including heavy rain and wind up to 75km/h for the whole islands of El Hierro, La Gomera and higher grounds of La Palma and Gran Canaria, rising to ‘orange’ with winds of up to 90 km/h in higher grounds of Tenerife. Lanzarote and Fuerteventura should expect cloud and light rain intervals. Temperatures are not expected to vary. These conditions are expected to remain until Monday (19th April 2010).
