Las Palmas de Gran Canaria carnival starts
The Las Palmas de Gran Canaria carnival starts today with the 1st round of the Murgas contest at the Parque Santa Catalina and finishes on the 19th February with the traditional burial of the sardine. The Carnival Queen gala is on the 5th February.
