Works of Hossein Ghavaedy in Fleming 4, Tenerife

The works of Hossien Ghavaedy is to be displayed in the ‘Sala Fleming 4’ in Puerto de la Cruz from the 18th Jan to the 5th February 2010.
Hossein emigrated to Europe from his native Iran. After completing his training in the United States as a military pilot, the Iran-Iraq conflict begins, then he becomes a deserter, and begins a long journey that takes him to Madrid, where he begins to learn arts and makes his first steps as a painter. In 1982, Germany granted him political asylum and Hossein continues his training until 2000. He moves to Tenerife and continues to work as an artist. His style is based on the aesthetics of the human body and its perception of the ephemeral, which aims to capture the viewer’s attention through movement and devious strokes.
