Woman dies in Malaga apartment fire

A woman has died and two had to be rescued in an apartment fire in Malaga.

The fire, which broke out on calle Héroe de Sostoa, was reported yesterday morning at 11.30.

It’s understood the person who perished was a resident of the apartment, whilst neighbours had to escape the blaze through the windows of their homes.

2 police officers had to be treated for smoke inhalation at the scene.
