Endessa customers warned about email scam

Endesa customers have been warned to be wary after reports of a scam email from them which has been found to infect people’s computers with a virus.

The email, which looks authentic, is understood to contain what at first glance appears to be an invoice, but is in fact a virus.

Endesa have said that they are aware of the issue, and are reminding people to make sure their antivirus is updated, and not to click on any links in emails that may be from them.
