Diver discovers bomb offshore

A diver who was exploring off of the coast of La Graciosa discovered a shell that had been lost underwater.

The explosive device was found at a depth of 15 metres off the coast. The diver alerted emergency services, who scrambled a navy vessel to inspect the item.

The 67cm long bomb was made safe by naval engineers shortly afterwards.
