Man arrested on suspicion of burglary

Policia Nacional in Maspalomas in Gran Canaria have detained a 40-year-old man with initials after he was spotted jumping the perimeter wall of a villa.

The man, who is understood to have a number of previous convictions, was arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary.

He has now been remanded in custody whilst awaiting trial.
