Water poisoning source established

Catalan authorities say that the gastroenteritis virus that has affected over 3000 people in Spain, must have tainted water at the bottling plant and not in nearby Andorra.

With investigations continuing, they now believe that human waste contamination of the bottling plant which packaged the water could be to blame.

The Catalan Public Health Agency went on to say that the source of the water, a well in Andorra, was unlikely to be the source of the contamination.
