Diver rescued after underwater heart attack

A 43 year old French diver who got into difficulties during his dive, was rescued by the parasending boat based at Playa Chica

It’s understood the diver suffered a heart attack whilst under water, and made an emergency ascent to the surface.

Upon his return to shore, he taken to intensive care at Arrecife Hospital.
