Minister resigns after Panama papers row

Spain’s acting industry minister, José Manuel Soria, has announced his resignation following his inclusion in the Panama papers.

The minister was slammed after being found to be involved in offshore companies located in Jersey.

The politician also gave up his positions as congressional deputy and president of the Partido Popular in his home region.
