British man in critical condition after nearly drowning

A 52-year-old British man is in a serious condition in hospital after nearly drowning in the seas off Los Cristianos’ Playa del Camisón. The man got into trouble on Monday night, and emergency services recovered the man and resuscitated him. He was then sent to Hospiten Sur where he remains in a serious conditon.

It comes after a Met Office increased its yellow warning to Orange for the south of Tenerife, and a warning was given for people to avoid bathing in coastal areas.
