Tourism crisis – the worst is over?

This is the headline in a news story published by a local island newspaper. According to figures released, so far this year (up to 16/12/2009) over 1.200.000 people have visited the island of Tenerife and 78.8% of these people are repeat visitors. 650.000 of these visitors flew or booked a holiday through Thomas Cook, who claims to have over 50% share in the tourism market in Tenerife.
