42 illegal immigrants arrive in Lanzarote

A boat with 42 illegal immigrants aboard was intercepted in waters off Lanzarote yesterday morning. The sources said that at about 05.05 hours yesterday morning (23/03/2011) the 112 emergency services was alerted by a Red Cross boat who had spotted a boat carrying illegal immigrants off the coast of Lanzarote. The boat was due to arrive at Puerto Naos in Arrecife around 10.00AM and the age and health of the occupants as unknown.
